- Cook a meal only with ingredients from the farmer’s market
- Organize my office – finally!
- Spend an afternoon in the garden
- Plan our October vacation
- Try a new local restaurant
- Go to the dentist
- Learn to kayak
- Take a hike on Mt. Beacon
- Go swimming in a watering hole
- Sort my closet and donate what I don’t wear anymore
- Host a dinner party
- Learn a new piece by J.S. Bach
- Reconnect with an old friend
- Take a trip to the shore
- Spend a day without media – social, radio or otherwise
- Read the Sunday New York Times
- Get a massage
- Discover a new town in the Hudson Valley
- Get my email to zero!
- Go see some art
- Play hooky and go see a mid-day movie
- Run 3 miles – no walking – for real
- Go one full day without spending any money (electively)
- Find a workshop or conference to attend
- Wear shorts to work (although it’s against policy)
- Use my phone as a phone (no apps) for a day
- Get my yearly health physical
- Do something nice for someone without a reason
- Make pancakes
- Spend a day off-line – completely
